A Wealth of Funds, A Lack of Information: Sex Education in Florida

"SIECUS, the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States, and the Healthy Teens Campaign of Florida have just released a report investigating where and how the millions in federal funding for abstinence education in Florida is spent each year. Too much of this money, the report finds, is used to fund programs that use medically inaccurate scare tactics to teach abstinence in Florida's public schools. Interviews include Adrienne Kimmell of Planned Parenthood in Florida and Bill Smith of SIECUS."
